What drives the price
Cost factors
Cabin size and capacity
Compact, twin and wheelchair-friendly cabins differ in price, and the cabin you need depends on who will ride and whether a mobility device has to fit.
Number of stops and travel
Travel distance and the number of landings change both the equipment and the work involved.
What your home needs
Floor framing, reinforcement, electrical access, the floor opening and the finish work all affect the total.
Doors and finishes
Power operated doors, cabin heights, lighting, colors and flooring are optional extras.
Permits and inspections
Building and elevator permits and the required inspections are part of the project.
Finish work
Drywall, trim and paint around the opening are included in our scope because our own crew does them.
How we quote
One contractor, one plan, one number
A written proposal from us is a firm price, not an allowance that grows later.
Financing is available through a third-party lender for those who qualify; ask us on the visit and we will explain the terms in writing before you decide anything.
Warranty
12-month limited parts warranty, labour not included
Pollock’s certificate covers “any defects in components on your Residential Elevator” for 12 months from the date of installation. In Pollock’s words: “We will replace any defective or malfunctioning part at no charge. You must pay any labor charges.”
Excluded: labour, batteries, springs, cosmetic damage, any wear item, and any problem caused by abuse, misuse or an act of God such as a flood. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under the warranty. Service is arranged through your local dealer — that is us.
